A Short Note from Your Future Lead
Sebastian Troitzsch
Software Engineering Manager - Flexa
Hi there!
I’m Sebastian Troitzsch, Software Engineering Manager at Flexa, where we focus on building software systems that enable large-scale virtual power plants and intelligent energy management. My expertise sits at the intersection of energy systems, optimization, and scalable cloud software, with a focus on turning complex energy models into reliable production systems that operate in real-world energy markets.
Before joining Flexa, I worked at gridX as Software Team Lead, where I led a team responsible for the dynamic tariff optimization feature of gridX’s energy management system, helping scale the platform from prototype to production systems serving tens of thousands of households.
Earlier in my career, I worked in energy system modeling and optimization research in Singapore, developing simulation platforms and optimization models for topics such as demand response, smart charging and vehicle-to-grid integration.
At Flexa, we believe innovation happens when talented people collaborate across disciplines. We aim to create an environment where engineers can take ownership, experiment with new ideas, and build technology that has real impact on the future of energy.
If you’re eager to be part of a dynamic and international team as well as excited about building technology that accelerates the transition to a smarter and more flexible energy system, I encourage you to explore opportunities with us.
Thank you for considering a future with us. Looking forward to what we can build together.
Sebastian
